Infomedia announce two new appointments to support roll-out of “plug and play” DCB solution for global merchants

Infomedia, a global leader in Direct Carrier Billing (DCB), is pleased to welcome, Shaun Horan as Commercial Operations Manager and Daniel Peal as Carrier Partnerships Director. Combined, they have over 20 years’ experience in the successful deployment of carrier billing solutions globally. These new appointments will support the organisation’s strategic plan to create a “plug and play” solution for global merchants to help them capitalise on opportunities using DCB.

Shaun Horan has been appointed as Commercial Operations Manager to strengthen the delivery function within the organisation and support the on-boarding of strategic partners. He previously worked at Microsoft as Senior Project Manager, Payments and Ecommerce, since 2014. He successfully delivered the end to end billing integration projects between Mobile Operators and Microsoft Store Payment Services. Shaun managed the Vodafone and Telefonica/O2 group activities as well as partners in Germany, Switzerland, Turkey and Saudi Arabia. Prior to working at Microsoft, he had previously worked as Technical Account Manager at Nokia for 14 years.

Daniel Peal, also from Microsoft has been appointed to grow carrier connections globally to increase the reach of the Infomedia Billing Platform enabling greater monetisation opportunities for their global merchant partners. He has been working in the mobile payments space since Nokia rolled out their mobile billing support for gaming in the early 2000’s and as Business Operations Manager at Microsoft since 2006. He was responsible for the successful roll-out of the Microsoft ‘non-SIM’ mobile billing solution for Xbox and Windows 10 to operator partners such as Orange Group, Hutchison Group, EE, Swisscom and many other partners across the globe.

Infomedia continue to strengthen their team to help increase global reach and provide an enhanced experience for merchants who are using the platform. These key appointments show further commitment to developing a world class team to support their partners and execute the next stage of their growth strategy.
